Complex Exponential

The complex exponential $\exp :\mathbb{C}\to \mathbb{C}$ is defined by $\exp (z):=e^x(\cos (y)+i\sin (y))$, that is
$\exp (z)=e^x\times e^{iy}$

Note

For $y=0$, it gives back $e^x$
